As a whole, the Heavy Frequencies EP is quintessential NYC summer-time disco. Bangin, jazzed out edits and slow wonky funk burners exude proper vibes for every mood. Kicking off the EP, the A1, ‘Water’ is one of those tracks you hear and instantly throw into your crate. This is a guaranteed stormer, a track with all the proper elements to get feet moving. With a playful piano loop front and center, the track storms ahead towards a beautiful sax break all whilst the vocals literally order you to dance. No problem, this track had us at hello. Sprinkle a fatty bassline on top of the rest of that sundae and you’ve got yourself a nice treat. ‘Water‘ is the perfect introduction to a classy, well-produced project that will certainly be getting the burn from your favorite DJs this summer.
