Monstart is proud to present the label’s twentieth release, which will be available November 24, 2023. This “Stepping Out” EP is the result of the collaboration of two French artists: Ouanounou – the head of the label – and Gipsyan – a talented producer from Montpellier.
With “Stepping Out” this original duo pays tribute to their common musical preferences, which are in the mood of the British and US underground scenes – hard drums, juke, footwork – and global bass. The result is a body of work that is technical, heavy, percussive, yet extremely harmonious. A musical journey into the club world, from 130 to 160 BPM.
