Written between 2020-2021, “Cerulean” is a ten-track album that delves into the isolation of the emotion, blue. The tracks flow between UK genres, combining sliced breaks, emotive melodic synths and deep pulsating low end to audibly display Jeigo’s intricate and melancholic production qualities.
“Over the period this was made, this project was the epicentre for my emotional stability and creative output, allowing me to find some comfort and calm in the tough moments of isolation that 2020/21 brought. Dedicated to my Dad and his best friend Roger” – Jack Carr Miles
Taking influence from the likes of Four Tet’s “Beautiful Rewind” and Everything But The Girl’s “Walking Wounded”, the album was produced in his former family home in South West London during the pandemic and finished in his home for the last two years in Peckham. Each track sits on the border of home listening and club functionality, with essences of crying on the dance floor euphoria, too those blissful or challenging moments alone.
