Asger Bruun Hansen, now known as Forte, is quickly becoming one of the most exciting prospects out of the flourishing house scene in Aarhus, Denmark. Hansen produced and released music under various monikers, prior to making his debut in 2017 as Forte with the excellent mini album “Techne” on 12recs and the standout EP “Away” on ØEN Records. Now Forte is set to release his first full length album “Intermissions” on ØEN Records.The album which Forte composed and recorded in Aarhus in 2018, consists of six tracks and five interludes, and is a study of, and tribute to, intermissions. Across the albums eleven tracks, Forte effortlessly traverses between ethereal dreamy vibes, intricate electronica and bustling rhythmic explorations. Stretching far beyond traditional house music boundaries, Forte’s layered and intricate compositions constantly strike a perfect balance between melancholic and elevating atmospheres. This is house music that you can vibe to in your living room, standing on a train platform or at discerning and esoteric dance floors.

The first track on the flipside “FDINS” is a fitting testament to Forte’s unique approach to house music. It’s a six minute odyssey in which he lays out moody soundscapes, only to carve through them with his sharp, layered rhythms. “Intermissions” will be released digitally and on vinyl on June 22, 2019.
