Just a few months after premiering Body Contact by Sim Fossil, the frenchmen from Mister T. records are back with a 2nd digital release. With this new EP by the British trio, Desert Island Disco, they unveil 3 balearic House bombshells to light up dancefloors and festivals this summer.Brought together by a shared passion for timeless dance music, the Desert Island Disco are a British collective hosting parties between London and Barcelona. After 4 successful self-releases, they are stepping up production efforts, launching their first major EP on Mister T. Records.
With the Fighting For Truth EP, the boys have produced 3 summery tracks that reflect the different moods of the balearic aesthetic. When Glistening is the most dancefloor-oriented track and Fighting for Truth maintains a similarly seductive vibe, Lina steps slightly apart. We still find the essence of dreamy house, with its groove and atmosphere but Lina merges broader electronic and afro influences of the Desert Island Disco trio. Lina takes the listener to a remote place with floating flutes, melodic percs and lush vocals that gives the final touch of the release Balearic.
