Qilla Records is set to release its latest compilation – “Forte, Vol. 12” – on August 26th, 2024.
The 12th edition of “Forte” features DOTT & Pati Mala, Glen S, Zokhuma, and 8-Bit Culprit, bringing playful energy to the series with shades of minimal, house, techno, and trance. Each artist contributes their unique sound, collectively shaping the style that defines this edition of Forte.
The opening track “Deepen” by DOTT & Pati Mala features a tight groove with an unsuspecting low-end and lingering whispered vocals that create a slow burn with a vintage touch. Glen S follows with “Decentre,” a bouncy expedition with bright, sunlit synths. “Pleasant Energies” by Zokhuma is made for the dance floor with its driving & evolving groove that seamlessly blends acid synth lines and chopped-up vocal cuts. 8-Bit Culprit’s “Restless” blends intricate sound design, dynamic breaks, and his signature musicality to close the compilation.
