Bordello A Parigi is back on Bolting Bits and they’re back with a bang! The Dutch imprint is an integral part of the modern Italo Disco scene and has been its main purveyor for quite a few years, courtesy of the renowned record shop and a clothing line. However, putting out music of the most exciting talent around has always been a top priority for the Brothel and the latest EP is clear proof of that philosophy.

For their latest installment, Bordello welcomes Uabos. The Italian DJ and producer has been a staple of Milan’s underground scene for years having shared the stage with legends like Legowelt, DJ Hell, Tiga, among dozens of others. 2018 has been a quiet year for Uabos, after previous releases on Toy Tonics and Gold Nite, but the wait is now over!
The Shadow EP contains four original tracks, shrouded in mystery, emotion and contrast. Uabos seems to build on his previous work, adding new elements into his layered style to create an interesting mix of nostalgia coupled with raw energy. That search for contrast is carried into the hick beats of “Egoland,” countered by cascading notes that slip and slide from sweetened funk to devil-may-care debauchery.
