Manchester newcomer Reynes makes his SITU Records debut with Mono Memory, a dreamy merging of UKG & minimal written during a period of lockdown.
Hazy Garage roller 3pm on the 25th opens up the record before the listener is plunged into the guttural and rhythmically broken Cyan. On the flip, Jet Black combines weighty bass with delicate pads & skittering drums to maximum effect while Valentines Ride is a sparse, percussion punctuated ride across the lower frequencies.
