Producer, DJ and lighting designer Occyx steps up with Forecast, a self-released four-track statement laying the foundations of their futurist club sound. Across four original tracks, Occyx crafts kinetic, polyrhythmic club music shaped by sculptured low-end, metric modulation and experimental sampling.
On Forecast, rave-ready UK bass meets maximalist production instincts: slicing gated synths collide with breakbeats and sub hydraulics, acidic riffs bloom from teased-out low end, and reharmonised pop vocal fragments mutate into breakbeat futurism.
They have performed at Field Maneuvers Festival and alongside artists such as Lorenzo Senni, Mun Sing and Delay Grounds. Support for their productions comes from Air Max 97, Dual Monitor, and Severine.
