After a debut 12″ late 2019 on the London based imprint Delusions Of Grandeur, Larry Quest comes back for a third release on Log Records. ‘Be:Quest’ is a single with two versions bouncing off each other celebrating the Rave subculture going back and forth between the US and Europe over the past decades.
The ‘Gateway Mix’ is tinted with the breathing character of the mid 1980s Chicago Acid House and conveys a serious punch with its strong Jacking bass line topped up with hazy pads and keyboards. Shake the core of the track with a 2-Step tweak on the beat with warped and throbbing sounds and you get the ‘Garage Mix’ bearing the absorbing flavours of the 1990s London genre binding late hours.
