Coming fresh off his acclaimed 2017 release ‘L’Avventura’ on London’s iconic Phonica Records, Warsaw based Earth Trax (Bartosz Kruczyński) is set to deliver another sweltering EP on the label. This time Kruczyński calls upon his regular collaborator and production partner Newborn Jr. for their upcoming four track “Truth EP”. Earth Trax and Newborn Jr. have proved to be a killer team of late with records such as ‘Sax & Flute’ on Rhythm Section, ‘Mirage’ on Les Yeux Orange and ‘If You’ on Shall Not Fade.

“Truth” will be the duos first release on Phonica Records. The legendary London record store/label first opened its doors in 2003, and has since been a staple of the Electronic music/DJ community (boasting regulars such as Four Tet, Floating Points, and Caribou). Phonica is dedicated to offering a diverse multi-genre collection, affirming that “fads come and go but we still always sell good dance music, that’s basically it”. Earth Trax and Newborn Jr.’s “Truth EP” is no different.
The second track on the A-side, Truth (Back Alley Mix) is a nostalgic banger, reminiscent of late 80’s synth driven electronic music like Kraftwerk and Pet Shop Boys. The track features dubbed out diva vocals cascading over wide snares and an almighty bassline, appearing through shimmering delays and reverbs like a vision of bygone nights reappearing in a dream. “Truth EP” comes out July 5th on Phonica Records.
