As their debut release up on San Francisco’s Dream Chimney, Cuerpo Docente bring us the ‘Esferas EP’. Skilled musicians, these live improvisation trio from Santiago, Chile, show us how it’s done across five stunning tracks. Playing together since 2018, their music is inspired by some of the greats like Herbie Hancock and Larry Heard.
For their first ever release, they cross jazz, funk and dub, the music all presented with that authentic feel and live energy of an improv night; an exhilarating experience never to be captured again! Cuerpo Docente are a jazz based collective for who it seems, the possibilities may well be endless.
