Our unsigned series looks to build a bridge between some under the radar talent and the various industry influencers that keep up with our content. Our goal is to help budding producers, who we handpick, to be able to find exposure and possibly a home for their yet unreleased productions. I’m Johan!
23 years old and just moved to Copenhagen, Denmark. I have been making music since i was around 12, I started out doing Hip-Hop beats and then later came into the electronic stuff. My musical influences are mostly from non-electronic music. I listen to a combination of jazz, funk, disco and rap. This tune features a bass sample I found on a fusion record, then i started to fool around with a random chord progression and simply laid the drums unquantized down. Lately I have been really into fusion jazz, the more funky side of it and this was my attempt to combine it with house music.
