Here we go again with another outstanding premiere bound to knock your « sox » off (oh stahp it, you like the lame puns). The Glasgow/Inverness based 2SOX records is treating us with some dancefloor thumpers. Under their label, Debukas and his brother Aldo, the two masterminds behind 2SOX records, have been signing and producing some absolute fire for the past year. Their latest release is no exception. Prior to starting the label with his brother, Debukas released titles under other well established labels, such as CHURCH and 20:20 Vision. 2SOX is now releasing its third instalment, Oddsox Vol. 1, showcasing tracks from Debukas, Tom Churchill, TELESKOP and a remix from Sparky.

Bolting Bits is premiering TELESKOP‘s track from the EP, titled Eta Carinae. Track starts off right away with strong kicks signaling the upbeat tempo the track will venture into. TELESKOP works his magic on the synth, delivering a nice solid groove, with hi hats in all the right places . He takes a plunge with a dubby break at around mid-track, only to prepare the listener for the reignition of the beat. There’s not a single shred of doubt that this one is meant to be a dancefloor success.

The EP in its entirety is an ode to the synthetizer. Fantastic productions heavy with synth sounds, this release is a no-brainer must have for tastemakers specializing in dubby deep house. The Bolting Bits crew is definitely looking forward to premiering more gems like these from 2SOX.
