Interwoven and driving rhythms, dreamy melodies, and deep, tribal atmospheres—this is the sound that immediately drew us to the artist Robotalco. His album, Yaxche, will be released on 19 April on Bandcamp and all streaming platforms. Yaxche is the ancient and mysterious tree of birth, life, and knowledge in Mayan culture, from which the world’s energy and wisdom flow.

The idea behind this album was born from an endless archive of layered tracks stored on Robotalco’s hard drive over the years, spanning from 2017 to 2024. This selection process reflects a clear eclecticism in the exploration of sounds and arrangements, seamlessly transitioning from classic house tracks to jazzy ambient, downtempo, Latin influences, dub techno inspirations, and beyond.

The album opens with a dreamy interlude titled DAILY OVERSIGHT, a captivating introduction that leads us into 5 AM ACTION DUB, a perfect after-hours track with dubby, immersive rhythms that take us on a true sonic journey.
