Re-leaf Record‘s debut release, lands this September direct from the mix series curator and newly appointed Label Boss, Aldonna. RLF001’s timely arrival casts the perfect soundtrack to sun-soaked landscapes and playful reaches of the club. With EP no 3 under her belt, Aldonna comfortably demonstrates her unmissable flair for 90’s Progressive House and slinky grooves. The 4 track EP stretches a variety of sultry moods, elucidating a musical figure of the Female Fatale, coaxing listeners into a dance frenzy across both sides of the record.

The A-Side launches in stride with the opening title, ‘Rush’. A glittery Piano House track, seasoned with twists and turns, edging listeners to submit themselves to the teased drum rolls and breakdowns. ‘Venus’, a mesmeric followup to Rush weaves contrasting elements of hard vs soft, joined in twain. Guided by its percussive groove, wonky textures and flirtatious whistles, Venus gradually unfurls into a synthed-out entrancing rapture.

March, Together is aptly titled for the compelling stomper that introduces the B-side. Anchored in deep bassline and pulsating rhythm, March Together drives a sense of dance floor unification and urgency, luring people closer in and filling the gaps in the crowd.

Winding down in tempo, B2 is an atmospheric closer to Female Fatale. Featuring vixen-like vocals from the Berlin based, Spanish Native, Yaiflai. Break Love’s euphoric downtempo offering breathes new life into the record, rounding it off by jaunting listeners into 90’s break-beat bliss.
