The Last Trip To Gandahar is the new alias of Ashley Stevenson, formerly known as Arthur Jnr. He had his debut single release under the fresh moniker on City Fly Records, the label he co-runs with Jonna, J’Shez and Darran P. The Leicester based producer is now set to release his debut Echoes of Paradise EP on a brand new vinyl label out of Washington, D.C. by the name of Better Listen Records. The new imprint is going to focus on house and disco releases and this first EP is exactly as advertised, with the exclusive premiere of the A2 brought to you.

“Over Paradise” is the second track taken from the forthcoming Echoes of Paradise EP. It starts off with a bit of a filtered disco vibe as sampled female vocals are played over a groovy beat and bass while some keys gently loop in the back. A high string line amps up the anticipation and boy does it deliver as the track takes off into a jazz funk fueled jam. Led by a jazzy flute and super groovy bass, the main stretch of this tune makes it impossible to keep your feet still. Keep your eyes peeled for this EP as we expect this one to be a hot commodity with the release just around the corner!
