Spring ‘23 sees Faux Poly release the first in a series of remix compilations, 8 tracks from a different artists across multiple genres.‘Faux Poly: Remixed 001’ marks the start of the label’s new regularly quarterly remix series, where a wide variety of producers are invited to pick anything from the label catalogue and reimagine it, making the core sounds of the label transcend their original setting and permeate through different club scenes around the world.



Highlights for FPR001 include Skudge’s unmistakable sound with Kassian’s flagship track ‘Off World Vehicles’, which has already garnered ongoing support from the likes of Ben UFO and Dixon, New Zealander newcomer Emanuel’s incredibly rowdy flip of Jay Carder’s A1 single ‘Eva’s Stoned’, and a club focussed change of tone from Demi Riquisimo, taking a left turn from his regular house influenced style with a choppy breakbeat remix of Jay Carder’s ‘So Carelessly’.

Faux Poly launched in early 2022 as means for label bosses Kassian to focus on a more specific heavier club sound. One year on, the label has put out 5 EP’s (Kassian, Jay Carder, Ste Roberts) and now boasts a monthly release schedule for the whole of 2023, with forthcoming EP’s from Sister Zo, Adam Curtain, and Guava to name a few.
