A budding French artist, Elon Skum, formerly known as Txbck, is about to release a 4-track EP on the 28th of March. Entitled ‘Getting Started’, the EP will be available on all streaming platforms and Bandcamp, with a limited print-run signed by the artist himself.

Our premiere today, called ‘Fires’, is remixed by Dave N.A. It’s a peak-time banger which promises to get anyone to the dance floor because of its contagious energy. A perfect way to close the EP, leaving listeners pumped up and craving for more.

With a sound that is drawn from the worlds of bass, ambient and mutant dancehall music, Elon Skum’s creations are a blend of styles that turns many heads. His inspiration comes from his love for bass and percussive music, and his keen interest in caucasian sounds. Elon Skum’s work is a fresh take on electronic music, being both experimental and accessible.

The debut EP is an introduction to his unique sound that has already received support from various artists such as Ma Sha, Flore, Jay Carder and Pluralist. Each track offers something different, showcasing his versatility and creativity as an artist.
