In echo of its Winter 2025 edition, Astropolis once again celebrates the talents of the Grand Ouest with a new release! The label’s 11th opus features Nouveau Monica, Batenko, Eklose, and ÆVEN in a 4-track EP spanning UK bass, trancey house, acid, and futuristic sounds. A vibrant dive into the creativity of the new electronic scene in the West France.

Le Mans-based Nouveau Monica opens the EP with “Watch Them Stutter”, a track that thrusts us into cross-Channel vibes. Blending sharp breakbeats, UK bass, and agile 2-step, it delivers a punchy track tailored for the most demanding dance floors.

With bangers played by heavyweights like Job Jose, Jennifer Cardini, and Roza Terenzi, Batenko (Jerry Horny, Tripalium…) is steadily making a name for himself on club and festival stages. “Fiktion Daylight” is no exception, with its bouncy ghetto house that’s sure to conquer dance floors everywhere.

Revealed by Astropolis in 2023, ÆVEN from Caen continues refining his cyberwarrior universe, blending future jungle, hyperpop, and saturated textures. With “Badnoids Rollout”, he pushes boundaries even further, delivering an avant-garde and powerful track where modernity and creativity intertwine for a bold production.

Co-founder of Elemento Records, Eklose draws her energy from rave culture, skillfully navigating between muscular techno, acid sounds, and rave missiles. “The Truth”, a vibrant homage to her early Breton raves, stands out as a love letter to acid techno, tinged with nostalgia and euphoria.
