Today’s premiere is a very special one indeed, marking the 100th premiere by Bolting Bits! To do the honours, we’ve got a release come through by none other than prolific acid-house purveyors Snuff Crew (soundcloud).
Although the mysterious, mask-clad German duo have their own Snuff Trax label, their coming record will be out through London party-collective-turned-record-label I Love Acid. For ILA015 we have three tunes by the duo as well as a fast-paced energy-driven remix by UK local Perseus Traxx on the B2.

Our premiere, however, is the EP’s opener A1 ‘We Lost You’. It features bouncy muffled drums and suspenseful chordal synth-strings held beneath a shrill melodic riff, all of which are bound together by the Snuff Crew signature – Chicago-flavoured raw percussive highs, steady thumping bass kicks, and of course, that distinctive, dynamic acid synth. ‘We Lost You’ is dark, it’s eerie, and it’s destined to be a dance-floor burner.
With just 303 vinyl-only copies, you’d be wise to keep a keen eye out for Snuff Crew’s ILA015 coming September!
